Professional Consultation and Clinical Supervision
Are you hoping to increase your clinical skills or confidence as a provider? Do you want to deepen your understanding of third-wave behavioral therapies? Are you looking to increase your comfort working with complex cases? I would love to partner with you!
Why Work With Me?
I love offering a compassionate, judgment-free space for other therapist to talk through stuck spots, try out new moves, and grow themselves towards the provider they would like to be. I specialize in offering Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) from an inter-behavioral perspective and bringing a contextual perspective into other behavioral modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I come to consultation after over a decade of experience in offering services to clients working through multiple, complex, treatment target goals, navigating resource scarcity, or both. Take a look at my CV to get a better sense of my work experiences and training background.
I’m A Particularly Good Fit For Those Trying To:
Clarify their values and approach as a therapist
Develop and fine-tune interventions that are flexible and responsive to clients in the moment.
Build a more grounded understanding of how our clinical choices function for our clients, and develop more intentionality around when and why we might make the choices we do in the room.
Strengthen adherence to behavioral modalities and solidify your theoretical base in your practice.
Navigate fear and uncertainty while working with “high risk” behaviors in clients.
Combat burnout and bolster self-trust and confidence as a provider.
Get “eyes on” their work through tangible practice including role play, real play and tape review.
Consultation and Supervision FAQ
-
Consultation is a one-off or continual connection between two providers where one provider supports the other in developing skills or expertise through knowledge/resource sharing, clinical discussion, practice and support. Similar to other forms of training or education, consultation is a way to support professional development that does not take on responsibility or assume liability for a colleagues actions. In contrast, supervision entails a licensed mental health professional supporting an unlicensed or candidate mental health professional as they pursue licensure by allowing the unlicensed clinician to work under their license and oversight.
-
I offer supervision and support towards licensure in both individual and group formats, but do so on a case-by-case basis. Given the longer-term nature and increased liability of the supervisory relationship I offer (and request that you first access) a free 30-minute consultation to ensure we are a good fit for each other before entering into a formal contract with each other. I encourage you to try 1-3 sessions of consultation with me before entering an individual supervision contract with me. For individuals pursuing individual supervision with me I request that we engage in weekly meetings.
-
I can offer consultation from anywhere over telehealth formats- your location isn’t a barrier! I am, however, only able to offer supervision to providers living in the state of Oregon.
-
I’m able to offer consultation to folks regardless of their clinical credential! I’m even happy to work with unlicensed providers in this capacity provided they have a clinical supervisor. I can supervise CSWA’s and professional counseling associates working towards licensure.

I am happy to offer consultation at the frequency that makes sense to you-and am happy to explore one-off meetings or regular connections. Reach out and let me know what you’re looking for. I ask providers seeking individual supervision to engage in supervision weekly, and providers engaging in group supervision to engage in adherence to their licensing board.
